I have read, heard, made a lot of brave statements about art, but this one is  the most challenging ever:

‘I just turn everything that I wonder, I’m interested in, whose theme touches me in a way within my daily life, into an art work. I am not an selectivist artist. On the contrary, I believe everybody has a potential of creativity that would surface if they are provoked, if they can provoke themselves, or they accumulate self-belief. If people establish dialogue with my art, or take steps to get to know themselves, said potential might surface; I witness this process all times..’

This is not European, still supported by – among others – Guggenheim Museum, which impressed me.

Perpetual Art Machine is a great source of joy for both art and video fans. It really made me spend all evening browsing through their materials. See Igor Baskin, with his ‘Random Russian Words’. Not only funny, but made me realize I need to go to Russia and work on portraits of those people! They are so…so real! Ech…I always sound so naive…never mind, have a look!

Quite amazing – this guy got so annoyed when his girlfriend  – Maca – left him, that he decided to travel around the country and stream videos of places where she could be, cannot be but should join him, or just where he ended up by coincidence. Started as a small personal, slightly silly idea. In the meantime he started to interview celebrities, and became popular. So popular that Coca Cola decided to sponsor him during the Island Festival. Feri and his blog are are a new celebrity!
